Candy Crunch

Here's another recipe using sweetened condensed milk...

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups (half of 15-ounce bag) pretzel sticks or pretzel twists
  • 4 cups (24 ounces) white chocolate chips
  • 1 (14-ounce) can Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 1 cup dried fruit (I used strawberries, cherries, raspberries & blueberries)

Method:

Line a 13 x 9 inch pan with wax paper. Pour pretzels and fruit in a large bowl. In a large saucepan over very low heat, melt chips with milk until smooth. Pour over pretzels and fruit, stirring to coat. Pour into pan, place in fridge and chill about two hours or until firm. Remove from pan and break into pieces. Store in airtight container or in fridge.

~ The only way to settle a disagreement is on the basis of what's right, not who's right ~

Pretzels are so good with white chocolate...growing up I use to eat warm, soft-baked pretzels with a fudge sauce on them...sounds weird but oh so good!
