Those parathas look AWESOME!!
I just came across your blog and love the recipes. My parents are from India, but I grew up in England and moved to the US, and am married to an American. I dont really cook Indian food anymore, my hubby has more regular american taste in food. But I am home alone a lot so I should really cook Indian for myself. Definately going to try some of your recipes. I do write down recipes from my Mother in England when I call her. I feel its important for me to write them down, so they are not lost forever.
Have to say you are better at cooking than I am. The photos make my mouth water.
~ Awwww, thanks, Rush!
~ Thanks, Divya & Soma!
~ Hi, Sima... I got hooked on Indian food from a friend years ago... I ate the leftovers his mom would send with him to work and when she found out, she started sending extra for me... That's when I started trying to learn to cook it myself. At first, It was terrible! But after 9 years, I have to say, It's pretty decent :) You should try to cook some for yourself, and maybe your husband will love it, too :) Thanks for stopping by, and do visit again!
beautiful color and looks so tempting great try Meeso looks so yummy.
Oh My god, U r really doing a great job cooking Indian dishes!! I know how hard it wud be for a non Indian to get used to the spices initially cos there are so many!!!Forget about non indian, even i dint know many of it until i started cooking!!

~ Thanks, Shabs :) It did take me a very long time to get use to all the spices, and to find them... when I started, there were no stores that carried them here and I had to order them online... now there are a few stores as It's almost 10 years later! I hope you visit again, and I will be visiting you :)
