I had to share this great Coconut Chutney recipe I tried... because I didn't have a proper grinder, it didn't come out thin and smooth, but it tasted perfect... as I was told ;) Someday I will try making all these chutneys, idli's, dosa's and such with a REAL grinder!
Thank you Devi, Renuka & Sanjana for the awards :) The rules of the happy 101 award state that the person receiving the award must state ten honest facts about themselves... Which I promise to do very soon :P I pass these along to all my blogger friends!

I love the dosas, sambar and the chutney! In some parts of Tamil Nadu, they do make it thick and course for dosas. It is usually for idlies that the chutney should be a lil watery or else it gets too dry to eat.
COngrats on ur awards, chutney with dosa looks delicious, prefect combo..
Meeso, liked nice brown glow on dosa...chutney looks fine too..with dosa I make thick and slight coarse chutney and for idli I grind fine.
I have Bella rocket which I had purchased from Kohls for 18$ ..does wonder job for making all dry and wet grindings for routine cooking...for rest grinding I use regular Hamilton beach blender.
Congratulations!! for your awards.
Usha.
