Chelsea's Stuffed Paratha's

My daughter is showing more interest in learning to cook and asking a lot of questions while I am cooking, and the other day, she asked me if she could help roll out, stuff, and cook a paratha. I really didn't expect her to be able to do it, but she did an awesome job with the whole process! I was really happy for her when the bread began to puff... She was excited to watch this happen. I remember when I would get so frustrated by flat, rock hard or chewy bread.

This time I tried something different with the dough, I used 1 cup of wheat flour, and 1 cup of besan, I thought this would make it a little healthier and I wanted something different. The stuffing was from (of course, my fav.) Betty Crocker's Indian Home Cooking.

Yasmeen from Health Nut has created a new award, and in her own words, is for "the bloggers who take time to leave encouraging comments and useful suggestions at my blog"...

So many of you have been so supportive of my blog and always take time to visit and leave comments, and I want to pass this on to all of you... There are too many to list, but you all know who you are!!!

meeso, i love your blog and here is why:
the foods you prepare: things you eat everyday and just from a glance (i will go back to check it all out), indian which i love.
just this first post i've read, your daughter is helping you with dinner. my own mother was not receptive to me being in the kitchen with her and i think it's wonderful that you're encouraging her interest in this.
