I am missing my daily life so much right now! I am staying in between my old apartment and my parents, waiting for my new apartment to be ready. I am living out of boxes, I haven't sat and watched TV on a couch in two weeks... I move between the bathroom, dining room and bedroom and have not relaxed since I decided to move. All of my spices and cooking supplies are packed away, not to mention, I haven't been grocery shopping in weeks. I have been living on convenience foods with the occasional dinner cooked by my mom, who is also too busy to cook. I am so tired of this and I want my apartment and my schedule back! If everything goes right, I will have my apartment this weekend, but we all know how things don't always go as planned... and considering I want it pretty badly, I worry that something is going to go wrong. It's easy to take for granted the simple things that make us feel comfortable and secure in our lives. One thing that takes up so much of my focus is cooking, and without that, I feel a little lost. Hopefully, I will get my life back to normal soon and be able to relax. Until then, I miss all of you and I miss my blog and I'll see you soon!

I miss it too ... !! Hope the move is done quickly and smoothly..
I know what you mean. I have felt that way since we left our house back in July. We were living from hotel to hotel now were in Saudi but were still staying at a furnished hotel suite, many boxes still packed due to another move we will make. All my things are packed and the kitchen is small boohoo lets cry together.
You poor thing! On the upside, soon your new apt will be ready and you can launch right back into the wonderful world of cooking and blogging.
Take care and settle down! Best wishes Meeso!
ohhhh how I understand you....ive been in moving mode for yrs now..I know the disruption of your routine can be very frustrating! But,like you said it kind of makes you re-evaluate the importance of things we tend to take for granted..as i know you value your home-you will probably only value it even more! Hang in there! we love you and cant wait to see you and the wonders you will be creating in your new home!love, mia

~ Mia, Thanks for the kind words! It's extremely hard not to have your roots planted somewhere, and although I always loved my home, this really does make me appreciate that I have a place to call my own!
We miss you too!
meeso,an idea for a nutritional warm 'quick-fix' - fine cracked wheat(burghul)-pour boiling water on it in a bowl and cover for a few min.then add some olive oil and whatever spices u have on hand-even just salt and pepper, and if u want a finely chopped ripe tomato-mix,and there u have a warm healthy quick meal!
same with fine rolled oats-add boiling water, cinnamon and raisins(+ sliced banana),cover for a bit-and you have a nice warm healthy treat!
hope this helped..love,mia
