Shriya's Dum Aloo

The other day, I bought a bag of baby red potatoes with the intention of finding a recipe online from one of the other bloggers. There were so many I wanted to try, and eventually will, but I decided on Shriya's Dum Aloo because her recipe for Mutton Soup had turned out to be a favorite of mine. My roommate, who cannot tolerate any heat in her food, even ate a huge plate of it. I'm glad I had doubled the recipe, or else I would have been in trouble! So, thanks again Shriya for another awesome recipe!

Li'l potatoes waiting to simmer

Sometimes just the prep for a dish looks so good!

My boyfriend and I go to this small store that also serves some food, and the raita there is the best I ever had, so good that I never use to like raita much until I had theirs. I wanted to know how they made it and he said to use spring onions, next time I tried. Well, I'm glad his tastes are good, because that made all the difference! I also added cilantro, tomato, salt & pepper and watered it to get the same consistency as theirs. Now I don't have to spend $3 every time I want a little cup of it, because I was!
