Rawa Kesari

Here's my entry for RCI Tamil Festivals ~ Thanks again Viji for inviting me to my first event :) I am making Rava Kesari for Diwali since I have a feeling I would enjoy that festival of lights very much if I was ever to see it!!!

I got this recipe from I Cook I Post... I think I might have cooked it a bit longer than I should have, but it still tasted really good! As far as mistakes go with food, I like to keep the quote below in mind when something doesn't turn out so perfect. I poured mine on a plate, cooled it and cut it for serving since it was a bit overdone. My daughter liked this much more cold...though I have to say I prefer mine very warm :)

Thanks Meeso, for honoring my request. So nice of you. We learn through mistakes only. But as you said, you can cut and serve it as a cake always. We intentionally do it sometimes. Nice entry. The color is so nice. You are so sweet than the Kesari. Have a good day. Viji

I make hundreds of mistakes in the kitchen too. Just a few days ago, I did not pay attention and burned a HUGE batch of onions I was deep frying.

~ Viji, thanks for inviting me to my first event...normally I might not have posted this since it didn't turn out the way I wanted but I was too happy to participate so I decided to post it anyway...thanks for your nice comments :)

~ Nabeela, thanks for your comment...It's always good to remember that none of us are perfect and at times we all mess up :D Sometimes I tend to forget that!
