Nabeela's Tandoori Chicken

I wanna thank Nabeela from Trial And Error for posting this recipe on her site. It was so easy and tasted perfect...everybody in the house loved it! As she suggested, I served this with some raita & lime along with a salad. I saw some baby cucumbers at the store and made a baby salad with cherry tomatoes, radishes, green onions, oil & salt. The raita I made by putting a cucumber in the food processor till it was liquidized (because that's how I like it :) and I add that to a cup of yogurt along with a handful of cilantro & some salt.

After this plate she had 2 more chicken legs!

After dinner I made a lemon cake and served it with an orange glaze. The glaze is simple, made by melting 5 tbs butter and adding 2 cups powdered sugar. Then I thinned this with some orange juice to get the right consistency. Add some grated orange rind if it is available.

That chicken looks fantastic! Here in Singapore, they sometimes serve mint chutney alongside tandoori chicken (same concept as the raita, they are meant to cool the palate after eating spicy tandoori chicken) and they taste soo good together..
And that cake looks delicious too, i love the oange glaze. Your family has had one great dinner, thanks to you!
