Butterscotch Banana Cake with Brown Sugar Sauce

Here's a great way to use up ripe banana's instead of the same ol' banana bread...I found the cake recipe here, the only thing I changed was the glaze. After reading the reviews on this recipe I figured I didn't want a butterscotch chip glaze so I found a glaze recipe here and they paired up beautifully together! I didn't worry too much about the excess of glaze around and in the middle of the cake as I scooped a little up and put it on each individual piece. Next time though, I think I will put much less over the cake and save the rest for each piece as needed. This was great, a nice change from regular frosted cakes...and It's really good warmed up in the microwave!

~ Suma & Cynthia...thank you for commenting :)

~ Happy cook...any other flavor would be good if they are available, such as chocolate. I even thought of trying that, since banana is so good with chocolate as you know ;) Let me know if you try something else and how it works, and thanks for the comment!

~ Padma, that's ok if you start baking later...I started learning to make Indian food only seven years ago and it took me an entire year just to learn the ingredients and where to get them :)~ I envy you for having eaten it and watched it being made your whole life ;)

I was looking for it in the picture (i'm blind like that) and when I spotted the molten pool in the centre of the bundt cake, I gasped out in delight! heh..
