Why Did I Even Try ? ? ?

So I was at this fancy shmancy import store looking at a bunch of overpriced things and happened upon the food isles starving like crazy...while looking, I spotted some overpriced "curry powder" and although I don't use curry powder I was hungry enough I thought the high price might make it worthy of something...boy was I wrong! Never mind I only had one chicken breast left and the bag of thighs was freezer burnt because I ignored them for too long, and never mind it maybe had too many potatoes in it to compensate for the lack of chicken but boy was it AWFUL! That might have been the worst tasting dish I ever made! What did I learn...NEVER buy "curry powder" no matter how much it costs or what fancy store it's bought in.

~To cease smoking is the easiest thing I ever did. I ought to know for I've done it a thousand times~

Actually people in India dont use curry powder as such. Its just something that has sprung up overseas. In India, each area or region has their own mix like ambhar powder, Garama masala etc , which are used in somedishes, but not necessarily in curry Dishes. I too had once bought some curry powder but had to throw it out.
